The area has much to offer, whether it be for a family beach holiday, or for those wishing to explore the countryside and coastline of Southern Brittany, or perhaps a mixture of both. thecampsite camping 'Le Moustoir' is a small friendly campsite nestling quietly among pine trees in countryside approximately 1˝ miles from the centre of Carnac and just 2 miles from the nearest beaches. Nearby there are many examples of the famous standing stones. The campsite has been owned by the same family for many years and is very attractive with its tree lined avenues and small wooded areas which contribute to the uncommercialised, relaxing atmosphere. It has all the facilities you would expect to find on a quality campsite including heated pool, toddlers' pool with large mushroom water feature, exciting four lane waterslide plus new twisting chute. There is also a poolside bar, where entertainment is organised in high season, a take-away, laundry and a small shop providing bread, croissants and basic essentials. The campsite offers something for everyone, outside school holidays, families with younger children will appreciate the quiet, safe playing environment and the shade offered by the tall pine trees, whilst couples looking for a relaxing holiday will also find this time ideal. The campsite is a little livelier in the high season when older children will love the pool and waterslides together with the numerous other site activities including a children's club. There is a regular bus service into Carnac from the campsite entrance. There are so many lovely and interesting places to visit nearby. A few minutes drive brings you to the spectacular marina at La Trinité sur Mer, home for hundreds of yachts and boats and where ocean going racing yachts can often be spotted. The old town of Auray with its picture postcard quayside of Ste Goustan is 15 minutes away, the mediaeval city of Vannes and picturesque Golfe du Morbihan around 30 minutes
